The Dorset headquartered education and training company arena4finance has been strengthened by the recruitment of a new team member, Sue Callard, who has recently joined us in the role of Senior Programmes Coordinator. Sue will be responsible for the academic administration and development of all of our courses and specifically the courses we deliver for the Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) which include studies in Hospitality Financial Management and Revenue Management. Sue joins us from Bournemouth University where she initially held roles in academic administration and then latterly specialised in educational IT taking on the role of Learning Technologist. Sue started her career in a public relations role with Disneyland Paris responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, demonstrating the Disney philosophy of a magical guest experience. Here she developed her passion for delivering exceptional customer interactions, whether in person, over the phone or online. At Bournemouth University Sue specialised in supporting students and academics in all aspects of delivering and using technology enhanced learning, including ePortfolios, online assessment, content creation and discussion forums.
Sue joins us at an exciting time in the arena4finance offices, which are located at the Merley House Business Centre, an 18th century Georgian manor house in East Dorset . We are currently working on the upgrade of our virtual learning environments with a new highly interactive user interface which will greatly enhance the educational experience for all our online learners. The new look learning platform, hosted by Dorset Creative and developed by arena4finance, will be available later this year. This upgrade to our online platforms will enable us to offer a greater range of online courses for managers from the service sectors seeking to improve their commercial skills in understanding financial accounts, cost control, pricing and profitable revenue growth.
