We are proud to partner with the Hospitality Professionals Association to offer the HOSPA Professional Development Programme in Revenue Management.

The HOSPA Revenue Management Programme is a flexible blended learning course aimed at aspiring hospitality Revenue Management professionals who wish to gain the skills and knowledge required to take the next step.

Each element of the course will help you to develop your career in this exciting discipline by providing you with tools required to work in the Revenue Management function. There are three levels available:

Level 1: Introduction to Revenue Management

Level 2: Operational Revenue Management

Level 3: Strategic Revenue Management

Completion of all three levels leads to Certified Associate member of HOSPA.

Aimed at those working in full time roles, the course costs £820 (plus VAT) per level, this includes everything you will need for your studies including all study materials, textbooks, tutor support, online resources, revision papers, examinations and membership with HOSPA for the duration of your study.

Key Dates

This online course commences September 2018 with examinations in January 2019 for each Level. HOSPA membership commences with enrolment.

Entry Requirements

For all those seeking to learn more about revenue management. Ideally currently working in hospitality or wishing to transfer into this area. Exemptions are avaiable for prior learning and previous study - call us for details.

Session Details

The HOSPA Revenue Management Education Programme has been designed to enable you to develop the competences you require to learn more about this important discipline in the hospitality industry.

We offer three levels of study with modules available at each level as follows:

Level 1: Introduction to Revenue Management

This level provides learners with an introduction to the topic of Revenue Management including the following modules:

  • Introduction to Revenue Management
  • Establish Prices and Forecasting Demand
  • Managing Inventory, Price and Distribution
  • Performance Measurement and Evaluating Results

Level 2: Operational Revenue Management

This stage places an emphasis on operations and will pull together economic and financial aspects relating to service businesses. Revenue Management tactics will be explored including the pitfalls to avoid when implementing or assessing the long term benefits of Revenue Management decisions.

Level 3: Strategic Revenue Management

The aim of the Strategic Revenue Management module is to focus on managing the Revenue Management function (people and systems). During this stage learners will have the opportunity to focus on an area of specialism such as information systems, analysing financial performance, relationship with the sales and marketing strategy or the implications for operations.
